I would not bet on it. Talent-wise those two are behind RP. Now is his mind right...?

IF RP keeps his nose clean he will be a starting NFL QB, no doubt about it
Posted on 4/27/10 at 1:24 pm to Bruce Lee
im just gonna keep posting this in every thread i see about this guy: RP = Marcus Vick

He's likely to get cut either way

The ignorance of homers is just astounding.
It's one thing to pull for a QB that played well for your team for a year or two. But it's just assenine to believe that after watching a guy throw all of 40 passes in the SEC that he's an NFL starter.

Honestly I don't see the guy even being a 3rd string qb.

Russell had fans pulling against him WHILE he was at LSU. The damndest thing I've ever seen...
This. How many times do we need to see it play out before our eyes until we get the picture?
Fans wanted Booty over Davey
Fans wanted Flynn over Russell
Fans want Jarrett freaking Lee over Jefferson*
Fans blatantly drop the "N" bomb repeatedly at LSU during tailgates and during games - they literally say it out loud. I am always amazed at this. It's like I'm in another country or something.
I mean - how much more do we need to spell it out before it's accepted fact?
* - It's okay to prefer the white kid over the black kid unless its obvious that the black kid is better. Which was the case in the 3 examples I've listed above.

When Davey was winning a Sugar Bowl I don't remember anyone wishing Booty was the starter. And while there are plenty of assholes in the LSU fanbase I still think the overwhelming majority of them just want the guy giving them the best chance to win to have the ball in there hands.

Are you pulling for him to make it?
fricking right I am

I dare you to go to a Penn State tailgate and refer to one of the players as an "N" and see what happens.
Why is it still okay at our school?

How many times do you people need to make everything about race?
I want the best person to play qb, regardless of race. The guy who gives us the greatest opportunity for success. That has nothing to do with race.

You're right - I definitely shouldn't have gone here on this thread.

agree, but only because he's too much a tard to stay clean and work hard
if he worked at it he would probably stick in the NFL

I doubt it. The guy more than likely hasn't gotten any better since his LSU days.

he has NFL talent
him starting an NFL has to do with his head. if he can get it on straight, he can succeed
going to Minn is prob the best thing for him, in more ways than one

I disagree. He has the athleticism and arm strength but does he have everything else?

I disagree. He will have to beat out either Tarvaris jackson or Sage Rosenfels. Neither will be easy.

adam you are officially taking over from SFP when it comes to posting the most while saying the least

yes

if he doesnt make the team he could be a practice squad guy
and if Favre retires then he has an even beter shot cause Jackson and Rosenfels both blow.
and if Minn just cuts him, he'll hang on somewhere else.
i dont know why you hate him so much. He was one of the top 7 or 8 QB in the draft
