He owns up to all his mistakes, his character defects, and how he thought he was more important than he really was. Takes a man to recognize and address his flaws later in life.

Great talk - 15 minutes

I’m sorry but his “opening up” is a grift at this point.

It’s all he has. And he interjects it into every athletes issue(big or small) in an attempt at self promotion.

I hope he has helped people. I’m sure that he has. But he doesn’t seem genuine to me.

I’ll never understand why he got so mad at the reporter in the locker room

I really thought he would have a better career than Peyton Manning. Good times.

I think there was a backstory there with a beat writer.

Im a huge manning fan, but at tge time this isnt a bad thoight. Leaf was really good..its easy to look back now and laugh.. but leaf was a stud in college. Now i see there were some red flags, but there was 32 nfl gm that thought he was a franchise qb and top 2 player n draft

Brady?

He was a backup for Oregon in 2007. When Dixon got hurt, Oregon options for the national title game dropped to $5 so I bought one.

Remember when he "got his life back together" last time when he was a college football coach?

Crying Leaf - he was a mess but I guess he's fallen and deserves a break

I'd hate know what kind of prick I would have been in his situation back then

You’re really kind of a retard. You ever think maybe some people are just genuine and want to help other people not make the same mistakes he did? His whole story is him failing. Why would he not use it to try and help people? I mean do you think people talk to him in the media to reflect on those sweet Washington state teams? Or because of his story?

Eta wanted to clarify you were retarded waaaay before this, so don’t think it’s just this statement

Celebrities, actors and athletes are attention addicts and they will be shameless to keep it.

That’s why they all “share their brave battle with….” on all the TV shows when their new book or movie comes out.

Ryan Leaf was out of the media for years. I’m sure his addiction to it led him to start sharing his story and helping people though.
