For all of the Jesuit people out there, this is germans as hell, but Fr. McGinn will no longer be Jesuit's President come May 2010. I heard a bunch of different reasons as to why he won't be there (everything from he left on his own to he wasn't raising enough $$$, etc, etc). Would somebody in the know please enlighten us? It's a shame. I can't imagine Jesuit w/o Fr. McGinn running the show.

Julius Caesar was still fighting the Gauls, it's so German.
I can imagine Jesuit without Fr. McGinn because he was only President for my senior year. However, it's going to be a very different place. I remember getting the email about his decision to step down, and yes, the place will be much different going forward.

FWIW, I have quite the background. Attended Brother Martin from 1993-1995, then Rummel from 1995-1998. And no, I wasn't kicked out. Not really sure why I left now that I think about it.

One of best friends graduated from Jesuit the year after I did, and his father was a Holy Cross alum. These things happen, even though some people aren't comfortable talking about them...

I apologize if you were joking, but you have no idea how many times I have heard this from Jesuit people who are dead serious.
I went to Christian Brothers for middle school. If you didnt know pretty much all Christian Brothers dudes go to Jesuit and they all thought they were better than me because I was going to Rummel.
