Rummel would get housed by Curtis more than likely. Why go outside your classification to get overpowered by a better team that you don't have to play really. Not sure if it would hurt a team's seeding for the playoff bracket since there not in 5A but if so then you can add that to the reasons why it would be pretty pointless.

Playing top teams has really helped Curtis as of late. They are a nationally recognized team. Not just the fact that they are #2 in the country right now, but also the tv show from years ago, Joe McKnight, etc., people know about Curtis because they aren't afraid to play anybody.

St. Pauls didn't mind playing Curtis this year on a minutes notice. Hell, schools from Florida and Maryland want to play Curtis, yet the team from up the road won't play them. A little funny.

frick them. Keep playing St.Pauls, and teams from Florida and Maryland.

So are you suggesting Curtis, who is ranked #2 in the country, is really scared to play Rummel who relies on winning with kids that can't start at Curtis?

Rummel & Curtis have equal talent most years. Not this year. But most years.

I'm sure they aren't. Those kids play together longer than most other high school teammates so they make very few stupid mistakes on the field.

You also don't seem to comprehend sarcasm well.

What's crazy is it shouldn't even be close considering all Rummel has to do is give scholarships to every Curtis player and they will leave, right? But kids would rather pay and stay at Curtis than get to go to Rummel for free.

I'm not jelly of shite. Seriously frick off. Keep playing nobody in front of hundreds at Bertolino. Let your starters play 8 snaps and call it a night.

I love when Rummel has successful seasons. Drives Curtis folk crazy.

Of course they aren't labelled athletic scholarships. Even a Rummel grad can't be that dense.
