Breaking: Tony Romo and CBS have agreed to a deal that will make him the highest NFL analyst in TV history in a deal that will pay him around $17 million per season, according to sources. Story up shortly.

I was looking forward to him on MNF.

I wasn't, they were probably going to pair him up with some scrub.

More than he was making most of his career. Boss.
Posted on 2/28/20 at 7:24 pm to usc6158
He would be the 20th highest paid QB with that number

Living the life that dude is. He got to bang prime Jessica Simpson a bunch too!

So he’s getting 1 mil per game?

I think he does more than 17, but still, that's wild.

Deserves every penny. He's aces at it.
Posted on 2/28/20 at 7:33 pm to KillerNut9
And doesn't have to break his back again to get it.
Posted on 2/28/20 at 7:33 pm to TT9
Agreed, he’s the best by a large margin

Ain’t no one better at dissecting the game than him
Posted on 2/28/20 at 7:36 pm to KillerNut9
That’s more than Patrick Mahomes will earn on his entire rookie deal and he’s won a MVP and a Super Bowl and still has a year left.

That would have been terrible. Staying at CBS means he can do the SB every 3 years.
I want the Tessitore\Booger shitshow to continue

And his pairing with Nance is perfect.

This is insanity. Aikman was the highest paid at $8/yr. I think Gruden was around $10M.
This totally rests the market. Peyton Manning is going to want $20M when he finally enters the fray.

I know Romo is BELOVED on here, but I don’t care for him. And weirdly enough, Collinsworth seems to be fairly hated and I think he’s awesome and light years better than Romo.

$17m for 5 months of work. Sweet.
