Breaking: Tony Romo and CBS have agreed to a deal that will make him the highest NFL analyst in TV history in a deal that will pay him around $17 million per season, according to sources. Story up shortly.

I wasn't, they were probably going to pair him up with some scrub.

I think he does more than 17, but still, that's wild.

That’s more than Patrick Mahomes will earn on his entire rookie deal and he’s won a MVP and a Super Bowl and still has a year left.

That would have been terrible. Staying at CBS means he can do the SB every 3 years.

I want the Tessitore\Booger shitshow to continue

absolutely. He's the best we've had. Can't really remember anyone to compare him to.

And his pairing with Nance is perfect.

This is insanity. Aikman was the highest paid at $8/yr. I think Gruden was around $10M.

This totally rests the market. Peyton Manning is going to want $20M when he finally enters the fray.

I know Romo is BELOVED on here, but I don’t care for him. And weirdly enough, Collinsworth seems to be fairly hated and I think he’s awesome and light years better than Romo.
