You aren't a Saints fan if you want the Falcons to do well. frick you.

It would be really cool if Roddy White's broken leg made for a sweet gif.

Eh, I'm only a Saints fan because when I was little and trying to decide which NFL team was my favorite I thought "Saints...they must be good! Saints are good!"

I like the Saints and all, but I would snub them for two 0-11 college teams playing. I don't care near as much about the NFL, and I don't hate the Falcons. However, my favorite team is the Saints.

Nevermind.

How cute. Insulting a female by using some degrading term. Original. Or not.

I want to see what happens when Clemmons is out of the lineup, the 3 levels of that defense work incredible together. But if you take away a percentage of passrush, how does it affect the rest? It won't fall apart, but Irvin, who I've been a big fan of since WV, will have to step up and thus cause need for another player to step up in his his old place.

I think you go Browner/White and Sherman/Jones, as the former match up physically and the latter athletically. I'd probably say Seattle, because I think the defense will have it's way with the Falcons if they play like they done recently. Plus, the CBs have some top shelf Safety help over the top, so they can take more chances.

Seahawks are my playoff team, always liked them. I don't believe in having a 2nd favorite team, but I'll root for a few. I like how Carroll has made some interesting moves personnel wise with forcing square pegs into round holes and it working. Plus they've got a WR from the high school I graduated from, so there's that. It's not a D-1 factory, so it's pretty uncommon

I think the matchup of ATL WR's and SEA CB's is going to be a great thing to watch, but it's not going to be the deciding factor. The key to each teams success will be in the running game. Obviously this year the Falcons have struggled tremendously vs the running game and we all know what Marshawn Lynch is capable of (don't y'all Saints fans )...

If we cannot stop Lynch, then the Falcons will be in for an incredibly long game. I'm hoping Nolan has some tricks up his sleeve to mix up coverages, etc. to get to Marshawn Lynch early and often.

On the flip side of that, Atlanta needs to find their own running game. Whether it's Turner or Quizz, somebody needs to step up and make some plays carrying the rock. We went from having one of the top rushing attacks in the league the past few years to almost non existant this year. With how physical the Seahawks defense is, we cannot rely solely on the passing game to win this one.

Everything points towards a Seattle win:
Lynch against the Falcon's run D
Wilson doesn't take many risks
Extremely physical DBs, although I think Julio could win his match ups, but I don't see Roddy having a breakout game
The Falcons could struggle to run the ball on Seattle's D

It all hinges on Matt Ryan, Julio, and Tony Gonzales for the falcons, otherwise the Seahawks win easy

Lol what?

Things that favor the falcons:
34-4 at home under Smith/Ryan
SEA traveling over 6000 miles in 2 weeks
SEA starting a rookie QB
Clemons probably has a torn ACL
Falcons have 2 weeks to rest
