Someone mentioned that to me while I was watching the game. I think Kelce was in school 2 years longer thank Gronk.

Although he was arguably the best pass catcher in the league this season, Kelce's decline could begin any time.
Chiefs probably have another couple of years left in their championship window with this core.

Gronk came out of college at 21 while Kelce didn’t come out until he was 24
Gronk also kind of burst onto the scene as a personality his rookie year (had 10 TDs as a rookie and had that big game against the Steelers in prime time that put him on the map) and then had at the time the greatest TE single season of all time as a sophomore before Kelce was even in the league yet
Kelce didn’t play his rookie year and put up good sophomore stats but nothing that would really blow up to get him in the public conscious
So even tho they are the same age, Gronk essentially had his personality out there for like 4 years before Kelce was a big name at the position. Which is why it feels like they are barely in the same era despite being the same age

Gronk was the 2007 class, spent 3 at AZ.

Watkins has been stealing money for a couple years now.
Having Sammy Watkins as your WR2 sounds a lot cooler on paper than actually having him out there.
