CNN, Disney, ESPN...what do they have in common now? Crap programming.
ESPN sucks, Star Wars sucked and CNN always sucks.
Who is their target audience? It's not even about politics now, there's no quality control.

Is ESPN an upgrade over cnn (throwing out political feelings)? Isn’t cnn a bigger brand across the entire spectrum of viewers?

And yeah, it will be a super shite show.

Zucker is a weird choice. He has a track record of getting an initial bump when he takes over, but ultimately leaving networks in worse shape than he found them.
