Seems like an appropriate time to drop the classic Cleveland tourism vid.

did better than people give him credit for when he was with the Saints.

in 3 seasons with the saints;
38 Games; 814 carries 3129 yards 16 TDs
132 Receptions 1092 yards 2 Tds

Really not all that bad especially for a saints team that went 20-28 in that time.

I don't think you understand what I'm talking about here.

obviously not if you think finding weed way back in the early 2000's was difficult

It is ALOT easier for me to get it here than it is when im back in SC.
it's literally like a grubhub app here.

i don't know or care where you are but there were no apps for anything circa 2003. That doesn't mean it was hard to get.

this has nothing to do with weed.

Ricky Williams comment doesn't but this is what i was replying to :

quote:

Josh Gordon showed that potheads can find weed anywhere

you can find it anywhere (today)

Although back then probably different.

So back to MY original point, people that wanted to could find weed anywhere, even way back in early 2000's, heck even waaaayyyyyy back the 20th century believe it or not

What’s wrong with a nfl player that gets beat up smoking weed?

I wonder if he'd look less like a panhandling bum in public in this alternate universe.

He missed out on bigger contracts due to some dumb decisions.

First was signing with Master P’s agency and having him sign an incentive laden deal to where he was never going to get that money.

Second was continuing to smoke after getting popped by the NFL, meaning he lost years in his prime due to suspensions and was unable to get a lucrative long term contract as a result.

He and Edgerrin James were drafted back to back. Edge made a lot more fricking money than Ricky.

Ricky’s career earnings were $24m in 11 seasons, offset by over a million in fines and suspensions. Edge’s earnings were $69m.

Ricky, maybe one of the most underrated RB's in the NFL history. He was pretty dominate for the Dolphins a couple of years and did better than people give him credit for when he was with the Saints.

Some posters here are downright indignant that Herschel Walker isn't in the HOF. I think Williams' NFL career was as good as Walkers ( neither belong in the HOF).

Williams ( fewer games/ starts than Walker) was an 1x First team All Pro/ Pro Bowler.

-10,000 yds rushing on 4.1 yards / per
-5 seasons over 1000 yards
-Led League Rushing 1x with 1853 yds
-66 rushings tds

I think Williams was the better pure runner ( NFL) & it's a legit question as to who had the better NFL career.

Herschel is a weird one because he put up a ton of stats in the USFL during his prime then was used questionably by the Cowboys and Vikes.
