The DC food scene is surprisingly abysmal but it's gotta have better Italian restaurants than Lubbock.

Georgetown how surprising little night life or anything to do really unless you like shopping at high end stores. There’s plenty of decent places elsewhere that have good eats. But it’s true, there’s no signature style or food here like there are in other major cities. You

I don’t see Will Wade on the list.

Wasn't he supposed to be the favorite for the St. John's job? Rick Pitino and St. John's work like pasta and red sauce.

Rick is 70 years old and a multimillionaire. Why the hell would you want that headache?

Hoes are a lot less likely to bend over the table for the Iona coach

Should take St. John's instead of Georgetown.

There's no way he's going to Lubbock TX. It'll between St. John's and Georgetown, and St. Johns won't require him to move. They're my guess. Cooley will jump to GTown.

Here's Georgetown and St. Johns fighting over Pitino's services

I think that it's wrong for the media to speculate as to where RP will be next season while he is in the midst of having Iona back to the NCAAs if we can win the MAAC championship tomorrow.

Whether he stays or goes is of no consequence to me as I cannot control it, but it must be tough on the players (especially the ones he recruited with the assurance that he wanted to end his career at Iona). To me it is like former Iona coach, Kevin Willard, endorsing Sha Holloway to succeed him at Seton Hall while St. Peter's was making a run in the Tourney last season. Just classless.

In any event, I will not be surprised if RP stays at Iona University, but what do I know?

Go Gaels!!!

Why not Will Wade?

Good news. Now you can go there and any decent sized school will bring about half the fans in a 3/4 empty arena as the away team. It’s a nice leisurely stroll out, even if you win in OT.

The old Big East was killed because they feared Tulane would be this exact scenario

That dry air in Lubbock would play havoc on Rick Pitino’s face.

Plus all that sun. If he's at St John's in NYC all those tall buildings will block it out.

Get him an ugly sweater, and he's the second coming of Lou Carnesseca.

Hell, Luigi is still spry for 98 years old. Hire him back.
