Always from BetOnline too. Couldn’t get a deal with the big boys like FanDuel or DraftKings, so he’s exposing us to these 2nd rate online books. Step up your negotiations, Chick. You own and host the best and most prestigious sports message board on the entire internet. You’ve got more power than to settle for BetOnline. Get it together.

Should take St. John's instead of Georgetown.

Gonna take something better than this to get him to leave Providence. He's from Providence and he's paid well. (ETA: Being close to home is important to him. Boston College would be nuts to not at least interview him at some point. Boston is 60 miles up I-95 from Providence.)

It's 500/1 for a reason, but this would be a fricking coup.

I'd go to some GU games again in they hire Pitino. Would at least be entertaining.

I've been to one Syracuse/Georgetown game in DC. It was the game GMac buried a three at the buzzer to win. We rolled out of there as quick as we could.

Is Pitino a serious candidate or is this just an opinion?

It was just an email I received today...thought I would share...it is right to give them credit.

I’m just busting your balls. I don’t know anything about BetOnline or your relationship with them or any other site. My main take away is that Georgetown has lost a lot of prestige, it seems. Buncha old has-beens, no-names, and no-chances on that list.

Good news. Now you can go there and any decent sized school will bring about half the fans in a 3/4 empty arena as the away team. It’s a nice leisurely stroll out, even if you win in OT. Did it myself just this year

GU, quite literally, cannot give tickets away for free

He's climbing these ranks a bit. There were some Mizzou fans who wanted to bring him home before we hired Gates.

Yeah… they had a promotion where any DC resident could get free tickets to the Sienna game. What an insane promotion.

The only time I’ve ever heard the local sports media talk about GU basketball in the 7 or so years I’ve been here was when Ewing was hired.
