Now I don't feel too bad about him possibly going 9 with no runs

Usually I cheer against perfect games unless the guy is a stud pitcher, but I'd be fine with this one.

Fun fact I've seen Rich Hill throw a complete game shutout in person

That was a makeup call for the 2-2 curveball that looked like a strike.

i usually cheee against it if they really don't pitch well and they just get lucky. Outside of that awful strike call to end the 8th he's been incredible

No matter what we have a good chance at some history between it either being an actual perfect game or just perfect nine innings

Is it okay for the Pirates to bunt for a hit in the bottom half of this inning?

It's a 0-0 game.

I think one of the best parts of baseball is watching a decent to mediocre pitcher put it all together for 9 straight innings and throw a gem.

Pretty unlikely he gets the perfect game now.

If the Dodgers score in the top of the 10th, Hill would have to finish the 10th inning to record a perfect game.

And he's probably getting pulled if that happens, a run in the top of the 10th

We have a possibility for the most rare occurance in baseball, throwing a no hitter and losing

I know he still has the no-hitter in tact and he's pitching incredibly, but I'm a little surprised he hasn't been pulled.
