Has struck out 8, only 64 pitches, don't think he's thrown 3 balls to any battee yet yet, and I don't recall a single well hit line drive

This might happen

Does he still get a perfect game if he throws all 9 innings but it's still 0-0? That would have to be a first

I actually think that has happened before. Back in like the 20s. But seeing how this team has decided it wants to leave everyone on base it's probably gonna happen tonight

No and no

Pedro did it for the Expos in the mid-'90s. He actually went out for the 10th inning with the perfect game in tact, but the lead off man got a hit and he was pulled.

Harvey Haddix took a perfect game into the 13th inning in 1959. 12 innings of perfect baseball. 36 straight retired.

Doesn't get credit for it, though.

Reminds me when a kid from UT in the CWS or a regional awhile back came in for relief and pitched 9 perfect innings or no-hit innings, can't remember and then lost it in his 10th lol
