Why would the Houston fanbase have kept turning out when Bud Adams blatantly shat all over them? Attendance was fine right up until he said "Oh hey guys, since you didn't bend over for my stadium shakedown so soon aver I got you to pay for the Astrodome renovation we're moving to Nashville in 3 years. The Astrodome renovation was a longtime plan by the Houston Sports Association who at the time was the ownership group of the Astros and the Astrodome in agreement with the Houston livestock show and rodeo it was not Bud Adams that got them to take the seats out what he wanted them to do was invest in more suites
