But could one or even both of the friends/former Raptors teammates join Los Angeles in unrestricted free agency this summer?

Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times:

DeRozan, who starred at Compton High and USC, has interest in returning home to play for the Lakers, even if it is for less than the $27.7 million he earned last season in San Antonio, according to people not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

Though the Lakers didn’t acquire Lowry at the trade deadline, he remains interested in joining them, according to people with knowledge of his situation.

LaBaby needs all the help in the world to win a ring.

Giannis won one by himself in Milwaukee

Giannas has another all star on his team and two other previous all stars. Not like he has no help

No one is winning a championship alone & its one of the more frustrating things about the NBA. Giannis would scoff at the notion that he won by himself .

It is funny that people say harden had Chris Paul and couldn’t win it, but Giannis won it with ‘no help’. both holiday AND Middleton were better in the finals than CP was v GSW. It is like they just look at the names of the people and ignore the actual production.

They can want to go there but it isn’t happening short of them taking a sweetheart deal to sign there OR someone wanting AD before the wheels completely fall off of him.

Jason Terry was better in those playoffs than CP was for HOU. This is what we were just talking about where people don’t even look at production, just names.

Khris Middleton was really, really good in the playoffs. They won multiple games in the ECF without Giannis.

Preach

I’m almost 100% sure Lebron wound have 3 rings with Gina’s squad at this point. Perfect team for Lebron’s needy arse.

I have family members and friends who say the SAME stuff.

The one thing they all have in common?

None of them have watched basketball since 2004
