A lot of teams could have won a series against this GS team

Two of their three best players were literally missing ligaments and tendons by the end of it

they literally are not even a playoff team if you take the guys they were down to at the tail end of the series.

GSW's bench practically consisted of a very aging Livingston plus scrubs in Cook and McKinney.

aside from a flurry from Cook in game 2, they did jack squat the rest of the series.

Toronto's bench of Ibaka and Van Vleet dominated, of course they are much more experienced than the dubs bench though.

Yes. Lebron is still a great player that can take over a game. Toronto was a very good team and Lebron would have meshed well

Their bench was bad, but they were also playing a million different line-ups due to injuries

Looney missing time, Cousins being a shell of a shell, Durant AND Klay going down

No team in the league has a back-up plan for that.

today LeBron? I don't know. He is getting old and worn out.

Tf are you saying? He had one of the best ever playoff runs lat year and averaged 28 8 8 this season, of course he’d win with the raptors

Did you see the teams that Lebron took to the NBA finals? Lebron could easily win a championship with the current Toronto team against that beat up rag tag Golden State squad.
Yea but those rosters were specifically built for Lebron to do the things that he does best.

I mean I said maybe so, so it's not like I'm counting him out. I just don't know if the Raptors would have been as effective as they were playing a different style.

Sure he could have been just as effective as Kawhi in those iso situations and what not, but would he allow Lowry/VanVleet to work the pnr with Gasol/Ibaka that the Raptors were feasting off of? Or would he take over that role? Would they be as effective as offball spot up shooters?

Would Siakim have the freedom to attack in the paint as much as he did?

Would his free throw troubles be a problem? Toronto feasted at the line and ended having the highest team ft% in Finals history. Played a huge role in their success.

It's a lot to consider so I said maybe so. fwiw that maybe is like 90% thinking he would win and 10% he wouldn't

THe Raptors were 17-5 without Kawhi this season. So I doubt LeBron would trade that team away. They were very solid

I'm trying to figure out how you turned that quote into me asking if Lebron would be a more effective pnr guy than Lowry or Fred?

Kawhi is my boy but he didn’t play that great in the finals

This is way overblown IMO.

He didn't play to the insane level he did in the 1st 3 rounds, but he was still really good.

29/10/4 on only 18 attempts per game.
