80s and early 90s Lakers were likable
I wasn't around for the 70s teams

Totally different people. Shaq was about as fun-loving as they got. He loved the microphone and gave great interviews. Kobe was never that guy and he wasn't beloved. It took a helicopter crash to do that.

Hard to believe that Nick Van Exel made only one all star team in his great career especially in LA where he played five seasons.
