remember when SFP told me that they wouldn’t miss a beat with all of their off-season personnel losses and I told him they wouldn’t make the playoffs. He then did a multiple post thesis about how and why I was wrong.

Jesus Christ. Why are you so damn eaten up by anything Louisiana lol. I’m embarrassed for you.

If they don’t get it this year, and they won’t, then their shot is gone.

I'm a Saints fan, but a lot of current saints fans are insufferable. The team is always awesome in their mind, and when they fail to win it is never the franchise or players fault. Easily one of the most delusional fan bases in the country.

Out of curiosity, DaTruth7, how do you feel about LSU fans?

Only a fricking moron would start a thread like this concerning a team that mortgaged their future for a 2 year window. Oh wait….Bama fan. I apologize.

LSU has more titles in the past 20 years than any school not named Bama. Not really sure how that compares to the saints.

We nearly made the playoffs after being displaced from home for the first month of the season, having a nfl record number of starters, and having our starting QB go down. But sure, we didn't make the playoffs cause of "off-season personnel losses"

Call them whatever you want. It is more than reasonable to assume those kind of hurdles won't come up every season. If we have just a few more things go our way as opposed to going against us, we will be a damn good team.

Rams have been more relevant than the Saints since they moved to LA.

You mean to tell me the NFL is gonna push the biggest market team in the country? Color me shocked.

Saints are also over the cap by, like, 72 million in 2022. They’re about to gut their roster and their coach is about to leave. Yikes.

Why do y’all do this to yourselves every year

Here let me make it easier for you:

You said the Saints would make the playoffs this season.

I said the Saints would not make the playoffs this season.

One of us was correct.

You calling people out on being wrong with their takes is peak irony. Until you own up to being wrong about Joe Burrow you have no credibility on this site. Sad.

Kroenke a wee bit richer than Gayle.

NFL and LA desperately need SoFi and pro football to work in Los Angeles this time.

Matt Stafford dosent throw 3 picks and give up a 17-0 lead the saints play the rams on wild card weekend. The saints get beat. Unless playoff trevor is a thing?. I dont like the 49ers and hate the rams needless to say I'm pulling for the Bengals if not them then the Chiefs.

Spotrac

The Saints have now freed up $80M of cap space over the past few weeks without outright releasing a single player from their signed roster.

Whoops! Tried to tell y’all.

And we may squeeze enough to fit in Deshaun Watson

We were a game out of the playoffs with 4 different QBs last season. Jameis stays healthy, we probably win the division. Acting like we fell off a cliff is hilarious.

And if the Ravens didn’t deal with an historic amount of injuries and Covid nonsense, the Bengals don’t make the playoffs.

The Rams are coming off a Super Bowl and have their core intact. If the Saints do acquire Watson they will have to send out a shitload of assets and cut ties with others. Any NFC South team is going to be gambling a lot to get Watson and likely won’t make the playoffs in 2022 with Brady coming back (unless he gets hurt).
