Somebody would have tackled you by the truck nuts.

Maybe someone could start a where are they now oversized overrated running backs from Alabama.
You start that list.
I'll start a list of all the wonderful LSU running backs with a National Title.

I am tired of hearing about LF.
make it stop
And he's already one of the best RB's in the NFL no matter what his sample size is. You will be hearing a lot more soon enough.

This thread broke LF7's ankle.

Remember when people tried to convince us a month ago that Dalvin Cook was better. And less injury-prone?
Easy to say now. Dalvin Cook was having a very nice start to the year. Freak, non-contact injuries happen and it, unfortunately, happened with Cook.

Well lets start here, Derrick Henry looks like a 50-50 mix of a WNBA player who dresses like Liberace and a male figure skater.

quote:Well those runs of 90 and 75 yards came on back to back carries, albeit in separate games. So in those 2 carriers he had 165 yards for 82.5 YPC. In the other 128 carries he had 431 yards for 3.37 YPC. Now some players are home run hitters Chris Johnson), where they get the bulk of their yards from just a handful of runs; however, of those 128 carries, Fournette's longest carry was 30 yards, only 4 of the 128 runs were over 15 yards, and only 11 of the 128 runs were over 10 yards.
Guess he was telling the truth.
Number 2 in rushing
Has a td in every game
Has runs of 90 and 75
Conversely, 13 of his runs were for negative yards, 9 were for no gain, 20 were for 1 yard, 17 were for 2 yards, and 17 were for 3 yards. So 10% of his runs have been for negative yards, 16.9% of his runs 0 or fewer yards, 30% of his runs have been for 1 or fewer yards, 45.3% of his runs have been for 2 or fewer yards, and 58.5% of his runs have been for 3 or fewer yards.
Only 34 of his runs have been for 5 or more yards (26.2%), he's had fewer 5+ yards carries than 1 or fewer yards carries (39), and his 21 carries of 7 or more yards is one fewer than his 22 carries of 0 or fewer yards.
Now maybe those two long runs, which have greatly bumped up his average, are indicative of the improvement moving forward, but I don't think the results indicate anything close to "easy."

Feels like you just described Barry Sanders' career.

This wall of text could have been summed up with "Meh, if you ignore his big runs, he's just OK."
If only it worked that way.
