I don’t think he goes before smith or chase due to the injury, but “not having high point catches on tape” is both not factual and frankly irrelevant given his skill set. He isn’t going to be drafted to do that nor will he slide on anyone’s board for that perceived weakness.

He can work on setting up corners a little better with his body movement. Like most guys with his speed and ability, he leans on that in college and doesn’t really set up corners with stems and body control like a Jeudy, Smitty, Ridley, or Cooper did for us. He’s better than all of them with the football in his hands though and I’d put him at the top when it comes to high pointing the ball from that group. He is an absolutely explosive leaper

You guys are being too sensitive

I'm not being sensitive, just letting you know that you are wrong regarding Waddle's ability to catch balls in traffic, or over defenders.

but I wouldn't pick him over Chase and Smith.

I see nothing wrong with that.

Typical BAMA fans. Never wrong about their guys...or anything really.

I don’t see anything but a half arse slot/KR out of Waddle in the NFL. Those guys are a dime a dozen. He will be drafted for his 40 time and be considered a “deep threat.”

What a dumbass take

So in January I had him at 5th WR off the board and maybe falling to the second round. He was the 5th receiver off the board and went late first. Yea, big yikes there, total whiff on my part.

The Jordan Matthews comp still isn’t a bad one. He had like 2700 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns in his first three seasons averaging 75 catches per. He was the all time leader in receiving in the SEC when he graduated. Only you would see that as some slight to Jefferson. Matthews was a damn good player when he came into the league. You’re sizing him up for a gold jacket and maybe he’ll get there, but the only “hot take” from me in that thread was the same question everyone else had which was his long speed. Jefferson was a slot receiver at LSU and the possession guy

Go through my post history and tell me about all my Alabama fan posts.

The more accurate description of this situation is typical Alabama obsessed LSU fan.

No he wasn’t

He had more catches over 20 air yards than jeudy, lamb, and Ruggs

Keep up your takes though

You also had Jefferson as a guy that would be hurt at the combine due to his speed. He then proceeds to run faster than jeudy and lamb

You whiffed
