Depends what my time needs but I’d probably go Tebow as 1s and Bush as 1b.

I mean, what the frick are we ranking them based on? College careers? Heisman season? Nfl careers? How they cook steak?
Come on bro be specific. There are many different ways to rank a list of football players

Gerhart and Suh were fantastic in 2009. They were deserving but also didn't have an issue with Ingram winning

Weinke was 28 when he won he Heisman. Should’ve been illegal.
Bush then Tebow
Bush then Tebow

Why did people value Crouch so much? I know he played in an option offense but that didn’t excuse his passing numbers. Even his rushing numbers while great for a QB, weren’t spectacular enough to make up for his passing.
I know people are going to say, “He had wow plays” but it doesn’t seem good enough. Because in the end it’s still just a few plays.

What’s this have to do with college awards?
+1 it's such an annoying argument

No he didn’t. He didn’t have the career people were expecting of him because he was ridiculously hyped. But he was a key part of the Saints SB team, and had some good seasons after he left them too. You’re acting like he’s Trent Richardson.

He ran like a blind mouse in the NFL.

I think why people rag on Bama backs is they think anybody could've done it just given the opportunity.
I mean the Red Sea parted that even Trent could find the hole.
That's the luxury of an O-line that is taught by a master how to professionally hold.

Troy Smith winning over DMAC is disgusting. The whole talk was "we can't give it to a sophmore" then they give it to a Soph Tebow over him the next year. Biased arse voters have tainted this trophy.

Tebow and that offense struggled until the OM loss

I think it’s actually gotten far better
In the 80s and 90s guys didn’t get It because they were Freshmen or Sophomores
In the 2000s guys wouldn’t get it because their team was 9-3 or not playing for a conference title.
I feel like today you see the most outstanding player win it
