Damn why would Joe bring in the Yankees second best reliever in a blowout.

Good question. I would've brought in Tomko.
Veras has pitched the past two days, and I wouldn't bring in Wang in this situation.

Cruz killed the 'stros this weekend...let's see what happens tomorrow. Rangers' fans are still buzzing.

Either way, good win.
Two good starts in a row for Hughes.

You've gotta keep Phil up here after a dominating start like that.

I'm guessing from the thread you are a Ranger fan.
How has Salty looked behind the plate this season? Has his D improved?

I don't know how that could happen exactly...but I do pull for the home team.

I like the big catcher...little better than Teagarden...Pudge had me spoiled, though.
'Saltalamacchia' can't fit on his jersey; i know that much

He's actually been outstanding. Teams haven't been able to run on him and he has improved in lockstep with the pitching staff in terms of calling a game.

64% are successful running on him this year.

That's good for 4th best in the majors.

Last year, he only threw out 18%, so he's definitely improved so far.

Dave Robertson has been called up from Triple A to replace Bruney.
