I'll root for a couple pricks that drive in 120 runs a year any day.

also im my opinion, the 98 Rangers lost to second best Yankee team of all time behind only the '27 yanks.

Yeah..they drive in a ton of runs in the clutch, too, right?

Are you talking about the same guy that took PEDs, gave signs to opposing players so they could help him out, and is a womanizer?

Yeah...he's got a lot of class, too.

Yep. Alex had a walk off home run, and a game tying 2 run home run in the bottom of the 9th in less than a week and a half.

Was that in the playoffs?

The number of links I could post would crash this site.

It's well known in Dallas and New York that he had many, many women on the side.

What does this have to do with A-Rod and Teixeira being ineffectual in clutch situations, chiefly in the playoffs?

If they gave out the most number of 3-run homers in blowout games, Mark Teixeira would be a Hall of Famer.

ARod has been very clutch this season. He has had some very big hits for the Yankees and the Mariners that somehow always get overlooked.

Since Texas always sucks, he or Tex never really had any clutch at bats in big games while playing there.

Yeah. Tex has had a lot of experience in the playoffs, being with the Rangers for 5 years.

Tex has been in the playoffs ONCE, and that was last year. What did you expect him to do, become Reggie Jackson in his first playoff appearance?

Take away that one playoff series he had when he was with the Mariners against the Yankees and he hasn't really ever done anything in the postseason.

There's a difference between doing stuff against the Minnesota Twins in May and doing it in October..

And Teixeira is awful with the game on the line and runners in scoring position..just an observation watching him in Texas..I think he was on one pretty decent team in Texas, but it was not like they were blown out every single night.

He consistently blows in clutch, key situations in games. I watched every game when he was with the Rangers. I should know.

He wasn't clutch for the Braves down the stretch and he was hot and cold for the Angels.

That's the thing you will come to find about him. He gets a lot of meaningless HRs and RBIs. He is the most hot and cold power hitter in the majors.

Including today, Tex has 34 RBI's.

24 of those RBI's have been in games that the Yankees have won.

And 7 out of his 13 home runs have been in Yankee victories.

I'd say that's a lot of meaningfull production.

So then every member of the Rangers is not clutch because they have never done anything in the postseason (besides Andrew Jones). Gotcha.
