No wonder why the Red Sox got rid of Cash.

Is Rangers Ballpark a double stadium?
6 have been hit so far between both teams.

Hughes sure does know how to pitch against the Rangers.

Coming into todays game, Alex had 10 hits, 7 homers.
Today he is 3-3 with a double and two singles.

Rangers getting drilled...shite. Yanks are a streak right now. It's a shame we had to give them so much of our talent.

Harrison is getting drilled. Why haven't the Ranger coaches taken him out yet?
Do they just want him to make it through 5 innings?

the yanks have been using Texas as a farm league

I'd say Soriano was a pretty good get by the Rangers for Alex.

no point in taking him out now...Nolan knows what he's doing.

Tex is the only guy that came up in the Rangers farm playing for the Yanks.

Hughes is having a great game today so far. I'm impressed.
Usually he has spurts of great stuff one inning, and then falters the next inning. But not today, so far.

When he is throwing 93 he looks like a future Cy Young winner.
When his fastball drops to 89-90, thats when he gets hammered.

hey derek, i missed why the yanks are wearing red caps...you know?
Posted on 5/25/09 at 2:34 pm to Chaz95
It's mandated by the MLB for Memorial Day. I don't really like the red caps personally, blue/white would've looked better, IMO.

It's okay..maybe the Rangers don't come back, but at least I don't have to root for a team with pricks like A Rod and Tex. I can't stand either of them and I'm glad they (along with Soriano) are no longer on the Rangers.
I want guys who want to play on the Rangers..and these group of guys do.
Best record in the AL

IMHO, this is the best team the Rangers have put together since '98. You're right, this is a good team to follow.

It's been long and painful for us, these past 10 years, but I have a feeling this is about to be a fun ride all Rangers fans are going to go on!
