I do have quite the mancrush on Nolan.

The guy is a legend now more than ever for the Rangers. Rangers win tomorrow and Cliff Lee owns the Giants in game 1.

I know of Nolan at the BPIA and the cowboy in Pioneer Plaza downtown. Past that, not sure.

most of the people besides tiger perry have been around all season and are known Rangers fans... the others are just rooting against the yankees.

When i was a wee little kid, my pops took me to see him pitch when he wore the sunset uniforms

My boy, Jackson, has seen many great games. Little kid even saw Cliff Lee's first game as a Ranger.

Most of ya'll that post regularly know that I'm a baseball fan and more specifically a huge Astros fan. I'm in sort of a unique situation in that I live in a market (Ruston) that is covered by 2 baseball teams. The Rangers are the primary team so if they're on TV, I get their games, while I get to see Astros games if the Rangers are off or have a non overlapping game. All of that means that I've cussed the Rangers a few times this season because they were on over my time but it also means that I've ended up watching several Rangers game this year. I don't know that you'd call me a "devout fan" but I've pulled for them to do well all year, enjoyed watching the games I did and was excited for them to win the division and have rooted for them all post season.

I'll be watching tomorrow night, just like I did yesterday afternoon with hopes of watching the Rangers clench their first trip to the World Series. I know my excitement won't be near the jubilation of the true longtime Rangers fans. Here's my advice to you guys. Enjoy the hell out of it. Theres truly nothing like your favorite baseball team clinching a trip to the championship. I was stoked for the Saints last year but a 16 game trip doesn't compare to 162+ games of ups and downs to get to that point.

I still remember the Astros clenching like it was yesterday. Oswalt pitched out of his mind and the last play was a soft fly ball to right field for Jason Lane. At that point, I went crazy. I hope the same for ya'll tomorrow.

Considering you couldn't even remember the # of titles the Yanks won in the past 15 years, you'd probably fail just asking the questions.
