Yeah I can at least root for Rangers, now I hope they overpay for Lee so the Yankees do not... I do not want them to give the guy 20-25 million over 6 years.

Yeah... I have no idea where all this money we're gonna need is gonna come from. Hopefully Greenberg has some deep arse pockets.

Well it is between the 2 teams. I have no problem with a short term deal but I hate paying pitchers who are 35+. I would prefer to get a younger player cause there is just as much unpredictability. Especially at 20+ million a season.

Who else will be a FA for the Rangers after this season?

A few of the older guys plus some trade pick-ups. Some are not eligible to be FA, but guys whose contacts will be up:

Vlad, Guzman, Cantu, Francouer, Molina, Frank Francisco, Hamilton, CJ, Oliver, Borbon, Blanco, Treanor, Nellie, Murphy, O'Day, Andrus, Feliz

Quite a few others, but those are the most notable.

Yeah, he's probably gone. I like that old man though. He had a rough patch in the postseason, but he was solid in game 4 I think it was.

he really upped his game when he aged. Like I said earlier, I'm pretty sure they modeled Atari baseball players after him.

Will they bring back Vlad? I know he earned himself a bigger contract and all.
Cantu probably will not be brought back, but he could have a decent season next year and would be a cheaper option if they let Vlad go.

Hamilton you know is coming back probably with a monster contract along with Lee. Can they afford the rest? Would put payroll well over 100 million

If Cantu is back I'll shite bricks.

It's hard not to give Vlad a contract after the season he had this year... But he's old as balls. Gotta wonder how much is left in the tank.

I'm not completely sure they'll pay Lee. I hope they will, but who knows.

Hambone has a spot locked up. I would think Andrus and Feliz do as well. Past that... anyone's guess. I would think Nellie and Murph would have a spot too.

Throw CJ in there too.

I think they'll certainly give it a shot, because you know where he's going otherwise.

I'm pretty sure Pettite will be done.

id be really torn on what to do if he goes to the yankees. he did so much for this team but over night going to the yankees ruins a player

I've been a Cliff Lee fan for years... just love the way he goes about his business out there. But yeah, will make it very difficult for me to root for him.
