I don't understand their insistence on changing the Ram horn. It looks like a water wave more than a ram horn.

The shades of blue and yellow they went with makes them look like an FCS or maybe even a high school. Do not like.

I get the idea of the all whites - that the helmets are so iconic and amazing that they can soar on their own. But it’s still not as cool as the 1980’s away uniforms which were so good.
I will also miss the navy blue helmet contrasting against the royal blue jersey - one of the best color “mismatches” in uniform history

Yup. I’d add the Seahawks as an example of major NFL revamp that got mostly positive reception in 2012. They are now considered a staple NFL concept and you see teams across leagues stealing that neon accent colour concept (Hawks, Mexico national team) . Also Milwaukee Bucks revamp several years ago got overwhelmingly positive feedback instantly.

Supposedly the new helmets have a hole (for safety) that is in the same place where the horn curls on the helmet.
Instead of thinning the horn to fit it they redesigned the horn.
