I'm not one of those people for what it's worth, but I see a lot of posters saying the NFL is rigged and scripted.

Soooo, if the NFL is scripted, then the Bills should be a shoo-in for the championship right?

Yep. Just like the Pats’ improbable run after 9/11.

Scripted like WWF?
No.

A private 32 member club of billionaires calling the shots?
Yes.

If the saints were hand wrapped the Lombardi after Katrina or whatever annual storm that was, I don’t see why this would be out of the question.

And yes, I am one of those that believes the league for the most part is like the WWE in regards to outcomes.

I’ve never taken these claims seriously, but supposedly during some of the talks with coaches Monday night, they were using the head ref’s microphone and earpiece to patch Goodell/NFL head offices in.

Makes you wonder why they set up this connection in the first place and how often it’s used…

If the Bills make it, will you believe it?

There's a difference between scripted and emphasis.

NFL isn't WWE. No one believes that.

But like that degenerate gambler ref in the NBA admitted, we were told to keep games close...control the game by David Stern for fan interest.

I'm sure each league has directives to encourage growth, money and positive outcomes... And in the NFL if one team wins with a feels good story, all the teams win....revenue sharing.

The NFL is in the business of making money, selling the brand, and being filthy rich, every owner. The NFL structurally is a Private Members Only Socialistic Cabal.

Al Davis complained his whole life about how the league was out to get him because he didn't fall in line with rest of the Owners. Only owner who liked him was Jerry Jones.

Rozzelle called Al a conspiracy nut for exposing the underbelly and politics of this so very secret organization known as the NFL owners.

After the NBA ref story which was almost 20 years ago I don't see how anybody is in disbelief. Maybe it's rigged maybe it's not. It definitely COULD be. How could anybody not see that?

I think head office tries to rig who wins in the end.

I’m not a Saints fan, but the Rams Targeting was very obvious.

Not like they weren’t one of the Super Bowl favorites to begin with or anything.

Because people like to think others have integrity, but when it comes to the billions of dollars at stake there are plenty willing to be a part of the charade.

To name a few —

- recycled coaching/front office hires that all either were initially a result of nepotism or the hiring of a former NFL player.

- truly incredible and indefensible coaching and refereeing mistakes on a game by game basis. Includes play calling, challenges, clock management, etc….

- recycled names of players yet those that share these names are somehow not directly related.
I.E. a few below
- LaDanian & Laken Tomlinson
- Matt & Danny Amendola
- Jarvis Green & Ben-Jarvis Green-Ellis
- Samari, Myron, Brian & Antrel Rolle, supposedly ‘distant cousins’ with no blood relation.

- Existing owners have the power to vote and let a new owner purchase a team or even force an existing owner out. They want to be sure you are bought in and will play the game the way it is supposed to be played, IE Kroenke with Rams and relocating, Bears moving to burbs for new stadium, etc

There are far too many ‘coincidences’, which largely do not naturally exist ,in regards to the small circle of those directly involved in a game’s outcome amongst ownership, front office, players, coaching staff and referees.
