Why does the stadium sound like mosquitos?
I actually texted my soccer buddy this exact same question (well I actually said swarm of bees) b/c it seems every soccer game sounds like this.
This is just awful for TV. I was hearing that buzzing for an hour after I turned the game off the other day...

they said during the game this morning that a possible solution would be to only allow the horns in games that South Africa is actually playing in WC. I think that's a fair compromise
I'll pull my damn hair out if I have to listen to that for a month next year though

I know Donovan, Altidore, Howard, Gooch, and the guys from the last WC team, but who are the other best players? And where do they play? Any of them overseas and what level?
Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

I've never understood this...how hard is it to stop the clock when the whistle blows and to restart it when the ball is back in play??

He's on the roster, on the bench. He's not bad.

I don't see Tony Meola anywhere on the roster. What's he weigh nowadays?

he didnt pan out.
If he gets a solid chance he will be a nice nice player for us.

Michael Bradley is a damn good midfielder, he's not playing this game though due to a red card. He plays in the Dutch Eredivisie IIRC. Benny Feilhaber is also coming into his own as a midfielder for our national team, I think he was actually born in Brazil. Clint Dempsey plays for Fulham in the EPL and has been ridiculous in the past few games for the MNT.
