Ovi is just the best. If you don't like the guy at this point, it's a character flaw on your part. We're talking about a player now so beloved that when he scored a hat trick on the road against a team that needed to win to win its division, the fans STILL threw hats on the ice and cheered him. OK, the game was out of hand at that point, but it was really cool of the good people of St. Louis.
Holtby tied Brodeur's record, Ovi moves into elite company with his 7th 50-goal season, and Backstrom gives the Caps two 50-assist guys. All hitting the milestones in the same game. Good times.
Then you had the Isles intentionally losing to the Flyers in Game 82 to avoid the Penguins, which was pretty funny to watch. They took 17 shots in a "must win" game. You know what? We'll take the wild card and the easier draw in the Atlantic, thank you. Let the Rangers play the Penguins.

Blues/Hawks games are the shite. I've been lucky enough to see 3 in my 1.5 years here. Playoffs would be absolutely monster.
Although I am moving to Nashville and could have a chance to see something great there as well.

No. Montgomery. They why I wish they had a game on a Saturday or Sunday. If I lived there, I would probably go to most of the playoff games, regardless of what day it's on.
Went up there the day after Christmas this year to see them play the Wings. Had a blast.

You will have fun. Their fanbase is much better than I assumed before the first time I went to a game there.

Agree on Ovi, however he really turned his image around since Trotz got to Washington. I used to hate the guy, but when he got smashed at the all star game I started to take a second look. From there he has become a man of the people. Someone's got to do it now that Jagr's years are limited.
It's too bad the Caps didn't draw the Rangers this year, guys might have beat us this year :)

That would assume the Hawks make it out of the first round. People here might actually be a fan of the guy since he's going to screw with your salary cap.
