the numbers would tell you it is not even remotely close. The eye test would bring Iverson closer, but still not on hardens level. Harden 3 yr peak BPM takes a back seat to prime lebron. And prime Jordan. That’s it.

AI's rep as a warrior on the court precedes him, there was just something dignified about the intensity and mental drive with which he approached the game of basketball, very old school, was all about winning for him and shutting opponents up. As prolific as Harden is statistically, he always leaves something on the table when it comes to the intangibles and instilling a hardcore championship culture in his team. I can't fathom prime AI pulling the inexcusable no-show Harden pulled Game 6 2017 Western Semis against a Kawhi-less Spurs, totally incomprehensible.
