LSU and PSU are the same the last decade except LSU had one transfer QB who worked out for them
LSU has the same number of championships as Ohio State in the last decade

As much as I hate them they were probably deserving in 1994.
Should have been a split like 97

But Daniels didn't take them to a top 5 season or the playoffs. LSU has 1 incredible season in the last decade. Outside of that, LSU fans would agree they have greatly underachieved. They have lost 3+ games every year outside of 2019. So they won one title, and basically haven't finished anywhere near the top 10 the rest of the last decade

The same LSU that’s one multiple titles in the last 2 decades?
The same LSU that is much more likely to have 4-5 losses in a season than they are to contend for a championship. 11 out of 24 this century. Oh, one of them was a 7 loss season.
Their highs are very high but their lows? Ugh.

To compare LSU to OSU in the last decade isn't even worth a debate. OSU has titles in 2014 and 2024, so in 2 of the last 10 seasons that have been played. OSU has been in the top 10 of the final CFP poll every season it has been in existence. LSU has finished in the top 10 once (they won that year of course)

LSU is consistently overrated too, but I don't see LSU fans saying they shouldn't be in the top 10 again this season do I?
I'm sure you can guess how that worked out for them most of those years. LSU and PSU are the same the last decade except LSU had one transfer QB who worked out for them
I'm not talking about LSU.I was talking about your USCe and AtM claims. Which aren't even remotely close to the same. LSU is more similar, though given they've won 3 championships in the past 20ish years and their recruiting classes, it's easy to see why they would be given the benefit of the doubt.

My original point was that the SEC has been getting the benefit of the doubt for 15 years. A team who is pre-season ranked takes an L, but that team who beats them gets vaulted up because they beat a "ranked SEC team". LSU, South Carolina, A&M, Ole Miss are all teams who are ranked every season, then lose 4 games but those Ls count as good ones and the Ws mean more because the AP poll starts with 7+ teams ranked annually.
A&M and USCe are ranked annually it seems fail to do anything

Do you need help counting? You said last decade earlier, the decade ends with the year 2015, I'm not cherry picking, "decade" was your time frame.
In the modern football era (since the start of the BCS) both LSU and Ohio State have 3 championships. Sure, you may have more top 10 finishes, but you also played in a much weaker conference for the majority of that time frame. The SEC won 15 of the 27 championships since the start of the BCS, with 6 different champions. The Big 10? 4 championships in that time frame with only 2 different champions. Congrats you feasted on a weak conference.

The Big House did not have permanent lights installed until 2010. That classic game vs ND in 2011 was the first night game in the big house.
The scenes when they started playing 7 Nations Army is burned into my brain

TLDR. LSU isn't good enough to even get to play OSU most seasons since 2010

LSU finished 6 in 2018 fwiw but yes disappointing overall results since 2011 minus 2019 and 18.
The JD5 teams were cursed with horrific defense but did sneak in an unexpected SEC West title and of course the 3rd Heisman in school history.
And FTR I’m not complaining about Penn St being pre season #1, they made the final four last year and have a lot including QB back so it’s not surprising. They’ve been consistently top 10ish under Franklin but haven’t been able to crack that glass ceiling

When was Penn State's last championship?
1986
1994 (forget the "Dr. Tom" phony retirement gift from the sportswriters.)
Penn State averaged 47 points per game, still the single-season record of the Big Ten’s modern era.

Seriously, who is James Franklin sucking off each year for Penn St to keep getting these high rankings?
It’s not nothing to always beat who you’re supposed to and rack up wins

You are confusing years, it was 1997 when Osborne retired and Nebraska split the title with Michigan.
I think you are one who was repeated easily debunked false narrative that in 1994 Penn St fell behind Nebraska in the polls after allowing Indiana a back door late TD ( LINK what actually happened was Nebraska was #2 behind Florida, when Florida lost Nebraska received the most first place votes but fell to 3 behind Colorado 2 and Penn St 1. The polls remained like that for a couple of weeks until Nebraska beat Colorado and Nebraska moved to 1. A week AFTER that Penn St played Indiana and they did lose first place votes but Nebraska was already #1. A case can be made there should have been a split in 94 but then again the B1G could have agreed to join the Bolw Alliance and have a 1 v 2 bowl but instead choose to stay with their traditional Rose Bowl
