Did he or did he not? I'm all for putting everyone back together and going 4 total classes. I'm tired of WM getting all of the shite when Neville gets zero. Ouachita has taken more kids than anyone in the parish and you don't hear a word about them. They took 4 absolute STUDS from Neville's feeder in one year, yet not a word. Ouachita basketball took WMs starting point guard a couple years ago right before the season and nothing was said. Top senior in the state this year in baseball, WM feeder then goes to OCS his freshman year.

Why is it that every program in the parish gets kids, yet it's just WM that catches all of the shite when it starts flying in these discussions?

Small town country high schools are ok with the split. It harkins back to the 60's -80's when we had a realistic chance at a championship.

So what changed that they no longer have a chance according to you? Keep in mind that you have to and always had to be good to win one. The Merryvilles of the world would never have a chance unless it was like a 5 team classification.

Arcadia just won the basketball title (and beat a hand picked LCA squad in the playoffs).
Kentwood (1a champion) beat the select champion Southern Lab head to head.

Last I checked schools like Oak Grove, Mangham, Sterlington and Haynesville can (and still do) still compete.

Looks to me like the small town country schools can compete quite well.
