During football season PMT just gets stale. They do the same segments each week and the show stays the same for a few months.

Glad I am not the only one. I just don’t care about the NFL and end up filling the void with various college football podcasts

My drive time has been cut a good bit in 2020 too

Idk man why would Dave think to ask Big Cat about a piece of content he was going to do? It’s Dave’s company at the end of the day and he’s going to do whatever piece of content he wants.

Maybe subconsciously Dave didn’t ask because he knew Big Cat would throw a bitch fit bc he suffers from TDS, but he 100% doesn’t need Big Cat’s approval to do a sit down with the president

He said that when Penn acquired Barstool, part of the deal was that he would be consulted on all decisions for Barstool. Guess he felt that this was a decision worth consulting.

That’s one of very few people that the interview is a no-brainer.
It's less about a "trump derangement syndrome" and more about you not being able to follow what happened and understand a little context.

First, that was part of the deal when they sat in that room that they talked about.

Second, you're missing the point. It's less about Dave "thinking" to ask BC, and more about Dave intentionally hiding it from him. Not sure why you're framing like, oops Dave just forgot to tell BigCat he was going to interview the President, that's absurd.

It's not subconsciously, he actively chose to not tell him, why are you pretending otherwise?

Again, it was part of the deal that BigCat would be involved in these types of decisions. Not to have final say, just to be in the know and involved. And Dave didn't forget or subconsciously do anything, he intentionally didn't tell Big Cat about it. Why in the world would he NOT be mad about that?

That’s fine man, I could be missing a key point, I just don’t really see a leg to stand on for Woke Cat getting butthurt, unless it was in a contract stating that all media and interview decisions needed to go through him, which very well could be possible I guess.

So you see nothing wrong with Dave telling him one thing that he'll run these types of things by Big Cat but then not only not running it by him, but intentionally hiding it from the Dude who is at or near #2 in charge?

Honestly, that isn't any bit logical, think about it.

I find it juvenile and immature, sure. But look at who it is that we are discussing

I don’t believe it should have been a big deal at all.

They're my go to when I'm out walking the dog so I'll definitely check it out. Anyone else think their Chris Berman nfl Sunday review is horrible? I skip it every time.

I think it's one of those things that are very funny at first, but doing it every single week, it'll lose some of its luster.

That being said, I'll be damned if I don't chuckle every single time I hear, "Standing on the corner, Jameis Winston Tampa Florida"

I haven’t listened to PMT in quite awhile. Recently added The Dave Portnoy Show w/ Eddie to my podcast list. Really liking this one so far.

Also, if anyone listens to the Bill Bert Podcast, they had Dave Portnoy on a while back and it was a pretty good episode. They started out just the two of them, and at some point started adding a guest here and there. I haven't listened in a while, but they're always entertaining with or without a guest.

The entire thing was manufactured drama, barstool is a reality show.
