Honestly this might be one of the real benefits of the XFL if it can hang around. Not only could it try out new rules that the NFL May adopt but it does give some players one final chance to showcase their stuff and get themselves back on an NFL roster.

It’s way more productive than QBs riding the bench.
I’d love to see some flame outs that were drafted in a bad spot get a second chance at starting in the XFL.
