No TE has ever had seasons like Gronk has had(yes some of that is due to passing inflation but still) and he's also a great blocker.

Ah, forgot this was only the modern era.

meh... put him on the 49ers then. He'd tear it up. He would do work in the Vikings offense too.

I'd take Marshall Faulk on the Saints though

great player legit HOFer but was he even the best TE of his own era, Kelln Winslow, Todd Christenson, Dave Casper??? He certainly didn't put miles of separation from the pack like Gronk has.
