He was big time as an amateur at Texas. I wasn't surprised he made a run at the pga.

"Technical expression when you pull one left like that"
To Tiger's "frick!" after his tee shot

So is that counted as a fairway hit, albeit the wrong one?

This is so DJ
11 under through 11 and then you par out for a 60

I saw someone on Twitter a couple holes back saying Dustin Johnson shooting a disappointing 60 is the epitome of his career

Cannot believe he didn’t go for it there.

I mean he is a great golfer, but he is a huge pussy and thats what keeps him from winning more of the big ones
Laying up with a 59 on the line? from 211 yards?

It wasn’t a great lie, but yeah. You’ve won 20 tourneys on the PGA tour already. Give yourself a chance to go down in the record book with an eagle.
I mean, I guess he thought there’s a better chance he’d make birdie from the fairway, but it just kind of sucks.

Watch for Berger and Wolff to make their move tomorrow. Both look like they can make up the 5 strokes by Sunday

I think he said in his post-round interview the ball was on a downhill slope otherwise he would have gone for the green.
The lay-up was the right call. Last thing you want is to hit a flier and you're back in the rough struggling to save par in an otherwise great round
