It's literally not fair how many injuries the Pats have.

They can't win it all without him, I don't think.

As long as whoever is calling plays can keep getting guys open on 4 yard routes...they'll be fine.

Seriously though, that sucks for him and y'all. How long will he be out?

Let Gronk and Brady sit the rest of the year so they don't get injured

Amendola can almost do the same things, but this means Gronk's receiving usage rate is about to skyrocket.

Depends on what he broke. Jones fracture, he'll be back sometime in the playoffs or so. That Lintz Frank or whatevs and he's done.

I get he never lived up to his contract because of injuries, but he never bitched or anything and if he gets the ball coming his way in the clutch he ALWAYS makes the play. We don't win the Super Bowl without him last year. frick the haters, he's a good dude

Its the Patriots. They'll be fine.

Amendola had 10 catches for 79 yards playing in his role. Its all about the Belichick system.

@AdamSchefter: Julian Edelman suffered a "significant" foot injury but "time loss is undetermined". Another source believed Edelman could return this year.

It kinda sucks Wes Welker was just signed last week. It really would of been plug and play in that scenario

Welker got way too butthurt about the Belicheck philosophy to come back like that. He talked a lot of shif when he left or atleast they had their issues that never got resolved when he left

Didn't seem to be any different when Weis and O'Brien were the OCs so I'm pretty sure Belichick is the common denominator.

Plus its as much his personnel brilliance as it is the scheme itself.

The scheme is completely different. Weis ran a power run based scheme, and O'Brien was infatuated with multiple tight end sets and constantly attacking the seams while almost completely ignoring receivers on the outside. McDaniels is a lot higher on empty sets and including all levels of WRs. He also likes to go deep on third and one for some odd reason.
