Reece and Joey to trying so hard to plead why Michigan should be 1.

Two Big 10 teams would almost be worse than Alabama sneaking in.
Almost.
Almost.

I will melt if Michigan has to play OSU again. I caught the tail end of the show and Herbie seemed to think TCU is in no matter what.

Part of me wants to see USC lose and Ohio St.slip in at 4. The melt by the Gumps would be nuclear.

Tennessee should be over Alabama. I get it but I don’t.

Pollock was thinking the same about TCU

I have to think UGA, Michigan, and TCU are damn near locks at this point.
As long as they don't get embarrassed.

So you'd rather make things more difficult for your team to win it all so that you can read posts by anonymous strangers on a message board? Kinda weird.
And bama fans wouldn't melt anyway since they know they have no chance especially aftwr tonight

A loss to Purdue even by one point would be a huge embarrassment by Michigan. A loss by usc or TCU would be a non shocker.

Should be the final standings unless any of 2-4 gets blown out.

I was being facetious, dude

I asked Boo Corrigan how the committee viewed the OSU-UM game. He said they evaluated it as a close game into the fourth quarter can't dismiss what happened at the end when it became a rout.
So Ohio State got a pass for losing by three touchdowns.

At home Bama doesn't deserve a spot either but Ohio State getting blown out at home and manballed in the second half is a no go.

I don’t see how you rank Bama and Tennessee back to back and have Bama over Tennessee. Tennessee has beaten the 6th and 14th teams, and lost the 1st and 19th. Bama has beaten the 20th and 24th teams, and lost to the 7th and 14th. The resumes are close enough to where the head to head matchup should be the tiebreaker.

Did they? They're out of the top 4 but ranked above a 2 loss team. I'd say they're right where they're supposed to be. Where would you rank them?

Who should be above Ohio State?

The whole season counts, or at least it should. One of the most annoying things about college football is the expectation that the last thing you see seemingly should trump everything else.
In the NFL, Week 1 counts the same as Week 18 when the playoff field is set.
