2 sometimes good
3 neither good or bad
4 somewhat good
5 excellent

Because a message has to be sent that this will NOT be tolerated now, or EVER! You can not allow people to do these type of thing and it not go unpunished. If the PSU board of directors had been doing their jobs, they would have got this taken care of when it started. The rumors were out there years ago. The chose to ignore them.
"I want that 9 year old....but I may go to prison....meh who cares?"
Or
"I want that 9 year old...but we may lose 10 schollies a year....frick nevermind"
Clearly the second is the more logical thought process.

I hate Alabama as much as any other lsu fan, but that'd be ridiculous. Especially when you're talking this many years later.
Dude I love Alabama football and I love my alma mater in all its faults. It is a big part of my life but not the extent of my life. If this were to happen at Bama or something significant that would bring great shame on CFB as a whole or my university the football team would have to go, point blank.

Why though? It'd be nothing more than symbolic and probably hurt way more people than just the accused.

To everyone saying the guilty people are no longer at Penn State.

Talk is cheap. It's easy to talk that talk when a scandal like this isnt brewing at your favorite school.

Please don't post about anarchy, which is something you clearly don't know. As for solutions a mini NFL where the players are paid and not with a free education BS.
i have no idea what you are trying to say. try being coherent and i'll tell you what i know about anarchy since it seems to be important to you.

It will happen. The NCAA is punishing for criminal activities outside its rules, excluding loic.

But WHY is it being punished by the NCAA? The people who were involved in the cover up are going to prison for a very long time/the rest of their lives.
In short form, it was to shield any fallout directed towards Paterno, the Program, and it's associations. Remember, PSU had just joined the B1G, and any embarrassment would be felt by both parties. There was also a growing body of people calling for JoePa to step down. This would have been fuel for the fire. Once they covered it up the 1st time, they could not reveal their sin later on down the road, and it snowballed. SEE FREEH REPORT

If they aren't gone then they soon will be gone and charged with some kind of criminal conspiracy felony that will put them all in prison for a very long time. That is justice. What the NCAA is advocating is nothing short of vengeance and mob rule.

That doesn't answer the question I posed. This is a criminal case that is currently in the process of dealing with all of those involved. All the NCAA is doing here is pouring salt into the wound. It will do nothing to deter this from ever happening again. All it is doing is making everyone in the media and the general public feel better because everyone is pissed and wants the NCAA to do something.

Guys the psu program should be put to sleep and not play football for awhile because no kid should ever have to worry about getting abused by some old man . Number 2 the people who did not tell on sandusky should really just go to hell no reasons what so ever that man should have not been cought 10 or so years ago. Psu needs to put out for this.

Anarchy has rules. Anarchy calls for no governments or leaders, unless it's voluntary without the threat or use of violence. Set up a mini NFL where the players are paid with money not scholarships that currently allows the NCAA tax exemption via legal terminology.

People have been molested at sleep overs. Should we ban those?
