I would love to see a gif of what happened to Marcedes Lewis on that critical 3rd down. It was in plain sight of every official.

I forgot what the NFL wanted this week. Do they love or hate the Patriots now?

The unnecessary roughness call was awful

I think the Patriots didn't clothesline any Jaguars WR's on passing routes. Probably because the Jags completely shut it down in the 2nd half with that padded 4 point lead. How do the Patriots get pass interference penalties when Fournette gets it every time?
This, the Patriots took shots downfield and Jacksonville didn’t. Also Jacksonville made the dirty hot and in general was not overly composed. They were lucky they weren’t flagged a couple times like when they recovered the fumble. The guy spiked the ball in anger when he thought they weren’t getting the call.

And it's hard to make excuses when you were up double digits at half and the Patriots didn't have their best player for the 2nd half of the game.
**** what game are you talking about?!

Penalty Disparity has to be fixed

No, it doesn't. Why do people think there needs to be an equal amount of penalties on both teams? It's highly probable that one team just committed more penalties. Same thing goes for basketball.

And the 30 yard pi penalty in Jacksonville was ticky tack at best.

He shoved him out of bounds

So you don't think the #1 team in the league could just be... wait for it.. DISCIPLINED

Jalen Ramsey had a blatant PI that needed to be called

You somehow think the game was rigged even though Gronk was knocked out of the game by a 15 yard helmet to helmet call

Yet all you have is a picture of a ref smiling at Pats players as "proof" that the league who previously had an ugly PR war against their QB/organization somehow favors them in games enough to fix games for them

If you want to argue that the Pats have paid the refs, this is possibly the worst game to pick to do it

I'm not arguing anything either way but to say this is the worst game to do it when the Pats had the least amount of penalties in a playoff game in the last 7 years is a bit overstated.

Brady played the entire game.

I think the ncaaf ncg was called much worse than this game. With that said, numerous hold penalties should have been called on NE at various times. Other than that i don’t think it was too terrible. Maybe one of the Cooks PI calls but that was close.

I thought they missed a blatant hold on the drive to make it 20-17. I believe it was Dareus right up the gut and they missed it. It also seemed like they ignores 3 hook plays on routes across the middle - one against Jad and 2 against the Pats.

If I'm a Jax fan, in mad at the scheme in the second half the most, but I'm not happy with the officiating. That's fair imo.

If the Jags don't have the 3 presnap penalties and the obvious Gronk hit, you're talking about them have 2 penalties which would've probably broken that same playoff record

The difference in penalties was 1.) pats didn't have any pre snap mental mistakes
2.) they threw the ball down the field much more often than the Jags did which gave them more opportunity for a PI call

Neither side was called for holding outside of one play that the Pats sacked Bortles anyway and declined the penalty

the refs swallowed their whistles for both sides. Which is what this board wants every week unless it's a team they don't like winning
