I love Thad's game, plays his arse off and is a great defender. They're going full rebuild mode so I wouldn't be surprised if he's moved this season, I'm sure contenders would be lining up to have him.

Pick is top 5 protected so if Wiggins is on the board when that pick comes up it's gonna be the Pels drafting him.

His agent got the best deal he could for him..Not many teams will want that salary. But he will most probably leave after the season.

My text to him/..... Dude Jrue? Whats with that? You player option next year?

His text... Man, but I got 2 years left.

thought it was 2013 option

8 mil is pretty fair for Thad. If he got his 3 point stroke back from his early years he could be an all star.

Yeah I forgot it was a 5 year deal too, not 4. Going to be a long year for him in Philly.

Goes up every year. He was told he will be a 3 not a 4. Doug wanted him as a 4. Never let him practice his 3. He has been practicing again.

Think last year is like 12 mil.

I don't think Rivers will pan out but for the sake of the Pels faithful around here I hope he will

That's what I had read, Collins was Young's biggest fan and got him to maximize his strengths but also probably stunted his development.

His salary is pretty flat, his 5th year player option is 9.5 mil.

You're a Sixers fan, right? How do you feel about Jrue Holliday? Future star?

Yeah. He is a star, or at least close to one. His only real weaknesses are that he is turnover prone and doesn't get to the foul line as much as you want. I don't know that he has a lot of improvement left but getting a 23 year old who is going to average 18/8 with good/maybe great defense is a coup for the Pelicans.

Think it will work out good for both teams, have wanted the Sixers to blow it all up for years. Wish I didn't have to root against the Pelicans, I love their roster.

There are a lot of good PG's in the league right now. In terms of pure trade value, so basically taking his age into account, I would only take Westbrook, Rose, Kyrie, and Curry over him. Wall, Lawson, and Lillard are debatable.

Depends on which team we're talking about, but I agree with all but Lillard (who is only a year younger than Holiday). Jrue is probably in that 7-10 range, but considering his age and, just as importantly, his contract, there aren't many better fits for a team like the Pelicans.
