theres a gif in the sherdog forum. i refuse to go in there anymore as the sheer amount of fanboys is unnerving.

ETA: After seeing the gif a few times, Daley only connects with Koschek's hand.

How about Babalu at UFC 74. He wouldnt let go of Heath and choked him out while the ref was trying to tear him off. In the post fight he said he was trying to teach him some respect and that he understood what he was doing.

So how exactly did Dana White forgive Babalu for doing that when he cut him from the UFC after the event?

Sobral hasn't fought in the UFC since them

gilbert yvel has a hard time getting licensed in the states

He never did any of that shite with the UFC.

As far as Rampage yea that's a good one.

Thank you.

As far as the Brock Lesnar meltdown, the worst thing he did was bad mouth Bud Light

pretty sure he never was disqualified in the states, but that didn't keep athletic commissions in the states from withholding licensing. plus yvel's misconduct was much more severe than what daley did.

daley certainly deserves to go in lieu of everything that has happened recently in other promotions, the situation's relatedness to the ufc, and visibility of the incident, but i think a lifetime ban is a bit ridiculous. of course, dana white never speaks in hyperbole, and it wasn't what people wanted to hear at the time. so, who knows.

Comparing what Rampage did to this incident is ridiculous. Daley's actions directly affected the integrity of the UFC product during a live event. White can't have that stuff happening when they are trying to win over athletic commissions and new fans. It also provides a perfect opportunity to further separate the UFC from Strikeforce after the Nashville brawl.

Here is a link to a video of the actual punch.
Daley
After watching it a few times it definitely looks like Daley connected with Koschek's face.

Didn't Dana White ban Nick Diaz from cornering his brother? Wondering if Coker is going to do that when Nik has his next fight.

No I'm pretty sure that was NSAC that did that not the UFC.

Actually the UFC did ban Nick from cornering Nate

nsac still licenses him as a fighter and corner for strikeforce every event

I was thinking NSAC did it since Strikeforce and Elite XC haven't really held many bouts if any in Nevada.
