The two games last year were closer in time to each other than December 2019 and now, and it still didn't mean shite. You'd have to be a dumbass to think that the result of the last matchup has any relevance to today's game.

The only relevant information to all of this is the fact that Belichick is still in the same shitty division facing familiar opponents, while Brady has a brand new team, in a much better division, with an irregular "preseason" leading to the first game.

Oh, and let's not forget that on the other side of the ball was a playoff/Super Bowl caliber opponent. Miami is definitely not that.
