McQueary still employed. Not sure how I feel about that.
He also needs to be gone.

He probably will soon, but he was not in any postion of authority. We may hear more about he told and to whom it told it to as time passes. Right now, we don't know all of his story.
He'll be gone soon.

They didn't even "ask for his resignation"?
Considering he said he wouldn't....until the end of the year. They were left with no choice.

The bottom line is that he and others had direct knowledge that a pedophile was raping children in their facilities. I have lost all respect for him and the Penn State program. I hope they end up being prosecuted.

wow.
I bet half the dudes on the BoTs wanted Paterno out years ago....this was their big chance.
That being said, this was quickly turning into a program killing disaster for PSU if they didnt take some sort of action...I think the situation and the media certainly forced their hand here.
Paterno, WTF man. seriously. WTF

Agreed.
I'm just wondering what's keeping the BOT from firing him.

This sucks. What a terrible way to go after all these years. I know it was a horrible thing Sandusky did and JoePa had a moral obligation to follow up on it but this is a shitty way to treat him after so many years.
Who cares that he won a few football games. There were innocent young boys that needed Joe Pa's help, and the old man was too worried about his legacy as a coach and not ruining his good friend's reputation. Joe Pa deserves all the humiliation he gets right now. His statements in the last 2 days show that he has no idea of exactly how wrong he is to have swept the sexual abuse of young boys under the rug.

That's fine, just needed to be sure. I've been making a mental note of all the full fledged retards over the past couple of days, and you just made the list.

why is everyone so pissed at the ginger? i really do not understand this. What the frick was he going to do thayt had not already been done? tell the police "hey, coach is fricking boys again in the shower", it's not like they didn't know, and he said i might or might not do it again to the police and was sent on his merry way.
WTF is a ginger grad assistant going to do on his own that hasn't already been done? you think the parents of the molested kids already hadn't gone forward and tried to accuse him because it's been documented they did. He did the right thing, he told his bosses boss, about the only man who had the clot to put a sotp to it, and not a single frick was given.
should he have STOPPed him from raping the child, yes he should have. I agree with that. But, people blaming him for not going to the police, aren't thinking the entire scenario out. by the end of the week they would have convinced him that he didn't know what he saw, sent him some hush money, and told him to GTFO out of town.

The media guy for the Board of Trustees seems very uncomfortable, but these reporters are IDIOTS!! They are still trying to take up for Paterno.
