Forde is a fricking douche. So is the rest of the Yahoo! sports crew. Where is there "blockbuster" story for 2011? Don't believe the hype, it's all bullshite.

Other than Mark May, a bunch of scripted, brainless talking heads. I simply cannot watch anymore.

+1 It's shocking that guys like Lou Holtz and Desmond Howard are still there

I can at least appreciate Dan Wetzel's investigative stuff between UConn and Miami has been money IMO. I won't knock him for the work he's put into those articles.

Yeah Yahoo! has good writers. The hate is because their biggest stuff is uncovering scandals. Charles Robinson is a great investigative journalist.

I don't understand the Howard hate at all.

He carries a man purse, or uhm, a satchel. Very popular in Europe.
Yahoo is stacking up the journalistic talent. Now if they would only upgrade their crappy radio network currently stuffed with Jim Rome jocksniffers and wannabe's.
Embarrasing.

Other than the fact that I made a grammatical error
(there vice their), why? Yahoo! has done a good job of exposing NCAA violations, but we all know (or should know) that the NCAA is a joke, and there's no consistency in their dispensation of sanctions.

DAMN IT! His pieces on College football and basketball were awesome. Looks like I'll be going to Yahoo sports now.

loweralabamatrojan, the reason that he is giving you such a hard time is because if you will remember like 2 or 3 months ago, yahoo came out with this HUGE story on the University of Miami. When I say huge, I am not talking about Reggie Bush huge, I am talking about paying players, prostitutes, paying one of the prostitutes to go and have an abortion, paying players in excess of $100,000 dollars. Having I think over 40 players that this guy named that he gave extra benefits to. I don't know how much bigger of a story you wanted than that. Maybe the fact that it is the U and I think most people probably thought there was something going on there, but I thought that story was about as big as it could get. I guess you and I have different opinions of what a big story is, but I thought that was a pretty big one.

forde is leaving ESPN. Talk is it has to do with him criticizing longhorn network. If that is true ESPN is such a joke.
This surprises you? ESPN is a corrupt trainwreck. Their handling of the James-Leach situation was laughable at best. They then blackballed Maryland into not hiring Leach.
Yahoo and someone needs to band together and start their own sports network. Fvck ESPN!
