Marquez is Manny's kryptonite. If there is one fight that gives Manny fits it's Marquez. You can't say Mayweather would have the same success based on tonight's fight.

May weather isn't same type of fighter as Marquez so impossible to compare. I think Pacquiao hurtsMayweather bad if they ever fight.

You're right....Mayweather is a defensive wizard and won't get hit with straight lefts like Marquez does and he has 10x the footwork, and 5x the speed.
Mayweather would make that look so easy it's crazy.

They are both counter punchers except Mayweather is much faster and has more power when he actually throws his hands.

are you serious? the reason marquez kept it close is because he fought as a counterpuncher for this fight.
he is nothing compared to mayweather in terms of defense/counterpunching. Mayweather will beat Pacquiao if they fight, tonight might swing the financials from a 50/50 split to 65/45 Mayweather
