Just show them a picture of the stands of a pac12 championship game....and advise only 2/3 of that crowd would actually miss them.

What? That’s retarded. It’d be cutting off your nose to spite your face. The universities NEED college football to be played. But the players have to understand they have no individual leverage at all. Like a lot have pointed out, we root for the uniforms and whoever is in it. Individual players don’t matter. Small groups don’t matter. The players only have leverage if literally ALL of them are willing to sit. And clearly, they are not. Remove from the team the ones who don’t want to play, and keep moving. Next man up.

If the Universities need football then the players do have leverage.
The way to show the players have no leverage is to shut down the athletic programs, cancel, the scholarships And send the players home.
Give it a year or two and the parents of high school athletes and high school athletes and some of the younger college athletes Fr/ Sph will realize they screwed this up and will be begging the colleges to resume the athletic programs again and drop this bs.
