Friggin nervous
I was nervous last night, but realize now that winning tonight would be an incredible feat. I fully expect to lose this game, but I'll certainly be happy if we win.

Clayton Kershaw finishes it off out of the pen after blowing an opportunity in game 5.
Yeah, if Kershaw throws a few innings and shuts it down, the media will never let the world forget about it. We will hear about it for days.

How many celebrities will get air time tonight?
I'm sure there's a prop bet out there somewhere.

Thoughts on moving Reddick to the 2 hole? Sounds nuts but:
1. You know Hinch is not going to bench him
2. If you're going to play him, might as well give him some protection in front of Altuve. He's hit 2nd almost all year against RHP.
3. Most importantly, you stretch the lineup with Bregman hitting 6th and break up the RH bats.
I'd rather bench him but it's not happening in game 7.
So put an automatic out in the 2 hole?

Lineup will almost certainly be:
Springer
Bregman
Altuve
Correa
Gurriel
McCann
Marwin
Reddick

I would be tempted to put him 2nd, but Bregman is wrecking shite there right now. But having him bat 2nd means he gets to bat against a righty (Darvish) at least twice and is surrounded by a bunch of righties in the order...so if the Dodgers decided to bring in a lefty to face him, that lefty would only be in to face one batter because of the righties behind him....and if it is a late game situation, then you could pinch hit Gattis or Maybin.
I just would like to spread the lefties out a little since it is obvious the Dodgers will try to piece this together with lots of situational pitching changes.
I wouldn't be opposed to this:
R Springer
L Reddick
R Altuve
R Correa
L Gonzalez
R Gurriel
R Bregman
L McCann
Pitcher spot
I guess what I am trying to say is that the bottom of the order that had McCann, righty Gonzalez, and Reddick all back-to-back makes it possible for the Dodgers to bring in a lefty to face all 3 of those guys in a row.
Right-handed Gonzalez looked better last night, but I think the McCann/righty Gonzalez/Reddick trifecta needs to be broken up and the most logical way to do that is to put Reddick in the 2-hole. It would make the Dodgers really have to think about when to bring their lefty relievers into the game....and like I said, I would have no problem pinch-hitting for Reddick with Maybin if need be.

As detailed in the post above, I think this group of 3 must be broken up. It is too easy for the Dodgers to plug in a lefty reliever here.
I hope Hinch pulls the trigger. Reddick in the 2 hole might find a spark hitting behind Altuve and Correa and I think Bregman can hit anywhere.

You make excellent points.

much as I have been sickened by Reddick, I still believe he can play baseball at a high level. I'm not so sure he feels like he can at this point. But he can. He just needs a small break-through.
I mean it’s game 7. Springer had a horrible start to the series until he turned it around and has been on fire since. You’ve got to believe Reddick can get it worked out tonight.
I said last night, if the Astros hit, they win. This team didn’t win 101 games on pitching 1-0 victories. You beat Chris Sale, Sabathia, and chased Kershaw the other night. It’s win or go home. I’ve got to believe they’ll be fired up.

Basically what I said on page 1, you just went into more detail and explained it better.
You can't let Roberts plug in Watson and Cingrani for several batters in a row without them having to deal with one of out best RH hitters.

I'd put Maybin in for Reddick and screw the pitching match up.

Not gonna lie you guys I've seen a ton of games that my teams were in that stressed me the hell out, but tonight's game 7 will EASILY top that. This game tonight will be the most stressed I will ever be that involves sports of any kind. Here's to hoping the good guys win it all though.

That's how I felt all day yesterday and during the game last night. For whatever reason, today I feel much more relaxed. Let's bring the World Series trophy to Houston baby!
I'm sure I'll be a wreck by the national anthem lol

2011 at Bama was the most stressed I had ever been for a game. Game 5 Sunday night may have topped it. Game 7 already has topped it for me and we're still 5.5 hours away from first pitch.

Well, it's safe to say that those first two games ended up going our way so let's hope tonight makes it three.

Baseball and football are different dress levels for me but 9-6 was the closet football game to a playoff baseball tension as there can be. Typically in football you aren’t stressed that any one play is going to end your season like you are during that game. You can almost always point to several reason why one team won.
I am a bigger LSU fan but LSU games are less dreadful than playoff baseball. You can explain football matchups and tip your hat to the other team. Baseball just is so random

Yeah, I'm not nearly as nervous/anxious today as I was yesterday.
