He'd probably play if it was USC-Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.
Playoffs have really skewed everyone's perception.
It's either, playoff game or bust for the players - and probably also the Rose Bowl.
Other bowl games? Players are saying, we don't care.

To be fair, I don't know what Ward's personal financial situation is. Darnold's family lives in an upper middle class suburb in Orange County.

Was it Darnold or Rosen who said it is different for QBs? May have been Rosen. I don't like Ward sitting, but I get it considering how not pumped up for the game I am
